There are three reasons which can cause water leakage in the bathroom and these causes are bad plumbing, defected seal in the bathroom around bathtub and shower pan, and ceramic tiles which are badly pasted.

Keep the plumbing arrangements of the bathroom as simple and uncomplicated as possible, even if your bathroom is a small one or a big one. Ask the workers who are doing the plumbing job to keep the numbers of pipes and joints as less as they can do for completing the work. Many times leakage happens through the joints so the chances of the leakage will be less too.

Make sure that have hired a person who is best in his job and have lot of experience and have work in every kind of bathroom, make sure that he makes excellent joints, to be extra careful you can get pictures of the whole work, by looking at those you will be able to find out if there is a fault in the work or not.

This can also happen with the badly fixed tiles and sealers which are to prevent water from dripping through bathtubs and tiles, this will keep you bathroom dirty and dump all the time. To fix it you will have to remove the old sealing and apply the new one instead. It is rather easy than fixing a joint, still need time and money.
